Gliding along the ski trails offers a relaxing break from everyday stress while you get plenty of fresh air. During late winter, when the sun rises higher in the sky and the days start to get a bit longer, it’s perfect to head out on the ski trails!

Our Ski Facilities

In Lappland’s Southern Gateway, there are great opportunities for cross-country skiing in several places within the municipality:

In Dorotea, the ski trails start from Björnvallen sports area or from Bergvattensjön. You can check the status of the trails in Dorotea on  www.skidspar.se

IIn Borgafjäll, there are well-groomed ski trails that start from Borgafjäll Hotell. The trails are maintained by Borgafjäll Skidklubb.

There is also a ski trail that starts from Borgagården.

Additionally, there are cross-country ski trails in the villages of Lavsjö, Svanabyn, and Västra Ormsjö. You can find more information on Dorotea municipality’s website.
