Skiing in Borgafjäll
The fell destination Borgafjäll offers great downhill skiing in beautiful landscape. You ski on natural snow, either on well-pisted slopes or on ski-routes with waist-deep powder. Especially the powder skiing is well known and often noted in magasins and newspapers.
Borgafjällbackarna has two lifts and several ski slopes where the longest one is 1495 metres and has a drop hight of 289 metres. The lifts takes you up to the top of Lillfjället. Here you can enjoy stunning scenery and breathtaking views of the mountains. There is also a ski-cross area and a child slope with its own lift.
Borgafjäll is still a hidden gem in south of Lapland, far from exploited to the mass tourism and with a lot of snow. The ski slopes are normally open from mid December until late April.

Skiing in Dorotea
In the middle of Dorotea village you find the ski slope of Avasaxa with one lift and one slope with 90 metres vertical drop. The lift has limited opening hours.
